You will start by pouring your footings which will be made of concrete. You will need footings at each of the eight corners as well as in the middle of the structure. The depth of the footings will be determined by the code in your area. Connected to the footings are the corner posts.
Your decking frames are connected to the corner posts. And on top of that will be your deck boards. From there you will construct your rafters and roof, and finally your railing will be installed.
Of course, it is going to be a little more complicated that how simple it sounds here. There are many measurements to be made and you will need to constantly make sure that your structure is aligned properly. And if you want to make your gazebo look unique you will account for varying patters for the railing. But in the end, it is a project well worth the time and effort you put into it!
